PURPOSE:To suppress the generation of a quarter buckle and to obtain a steel strip having high flatness by providing reduced diameter parts which are recessed to a concave-curved shape to the outside circumference of a core shaft facing the middle position between the transverse center of the steel strip and both end edges of the steel strip. CONSTITUTION:The reduced diameter parts 2s, 2t recessed to the smooth concave-curved shape are provided to the outside circumference of the core shaft 2 facing the middle position S-S, T-T of the transverse center L-L of the rolling steel strip 4 and both end edges P-P, Q-Q of the steel strip 4 in a sleeve roll 1 to be used for a multi-stages rolling mill constituted by fitting and fixing a sleeve 3 to the shaft 2. |
