<p>PURPOSE:To achieve direct electrical connection between each electric component and a conductive slip ring so as to simplify wiring by mounting on the lower surface of the bottom face portion of a case body the slip ring for electrical connection to electric components located outside a steering wheel, in the case body having electric components stored therein. CONSTITUTION:An annular case body 46 is disposed around a boss 30 and various electrical components such as an impact sensor 56 are stored for protection inside the case body 46 and the space inside a steering wheel is effectively utilized to install various electric components within the steering wheel. A conductive slip ring 62 for electical connection to electric components located outside the steering wheel is mounted on the lower surface of the bottom face portion 46a of the case body 46 in which the electrical components such as the impact sensor 56 are stored. Thus direct electric connection between each of components such as the impact sensor 56 and the slip ring 62 can be achieved and so electric lead wires are not required and wiring is simplified, so that workability is enhanced in assembling the components and cost reduction is achieved.</p> |
