This rotating prism (2) is intended for an advertising panel or the like, including a plurality of such prisms, arranged side-by-side and mounted so as to rotate around parallel and equidistant shafts (3), each side face (4) of a prism being provided with a piece of an image, in the form of a strip (6). In the region of its longitudinal edges delimiting its side faces (4), the rotating prism (2) is provided with lips (7) preferably translucent, which are suitable for retaining longitudinal edges of strips constituting the image portions (6).
