DOCUMENT FALL PREVENTION DEVICE FOR IMAGE FORMING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To prevent falling of a document from a document support means in a document conveying device tilted when an upper half body of a device main body is opened upward. CONSTITUTION:An image forming device comprises; a device main body M in which an upper half body M1 is supported to turn up and down around a fulcrum 1 at one end side of a lower half body M2; a document conveying device F positioned on a top face of the upper half body M1, for conveying a document to a platen P provided on a top face of the device main body M; a document support means 2 provided in the document conveying device F, for loading documents; an opening detecting means S1 for detecting opening of the upper half body M1; a document pressing means 6 provided for pressing- contact with and separation from a document on the document support means 2 and pressing-contacted with the document when opening of the upper half body M1 is detected.
