<p>PURPOSE: To obtain an anticancer composition that has high selectivity to cancer cells, has high solubility in diluents suitable for administration to human by using rhodacyanine compounds represented by a specific formula as neoplasm inhibitors. CONSTITUTION: This anticancer composition contains a therapeutically effective amount of rhodacyanine compounds of formulas I to IV (X1 is O, S, Se, NR12 ; X2 is O, S, Se, NR15 ;, X3 is O, S, Se; X4 is NR19 , NR20 R21 ; Y1 is O, S, Se, NR18 ; Z1 is an atomic group for forming 5-6-membered rings; Z2 is an atomic group for forming naphthalene, anthracene, phenanthrene; R1 , R3 , R14 , R15 and R19 are each an alkyl; R2 and R18 are each an alkyl, an aryl, or a heterocyclic; L1 to L3 are each an (un)substituted methylene; R4 and R5 are each an alkyl, an aryl; R6 to R9 are each H, an alkyl, an aryl or two of them link to form a 5-6-membered ring; R10 to R13 are each H, an alkyl, an aryl, an alkoxy, an acyl, CF3 , NO2 , CN, OH; R16 , R17 , R20 and R21 are each an alkyl; Q<-> is pharmaceutically acceptable anion; n=0 or 1; 1=1 or 2].</p> |
