<p>PURPOSE:To improve accuracy of thickness, to improve yield and, especially, to reduce allowance for length of thickness deviation in a part BOT. CONSTITUTION:A alpha-ray thickness gage 4 is mounted behind a finishing mill 2, the thickness and temp. of a steel plate 6 are measured at the time of reverse pass in each position in the longitudinal direction of the steel plate 6 and the command values for rolling-down that correspond to each position for making thickness on the outlet side corresponding to those positions into the target thickness are calculated and memorized. From the time when the steel plate 6 is bitten into the finishing mill 2 until it is passed through, each position of the steel plate in the roll gap is tracked and the command values for rolling- down that are d to correspond to each position are read and imparted to the rolling system 1.</p> |
