PURPOSE:To prevent vehicle side harnesses and battery terminals from being roughened on their surfaces by using a connector in installing or removing a battery to immediately form circuits for charging and discharging a capacitor, for smoothly charging and discharging the capacitor. CONSTITUTION:To install a battery 1, one of harnesses 4 is connected to the positive terminal 3 of a battery 1a and a connector 10 is installed while covering each of the terminals 2, 3 of the battery 1. The switch 15 of the connector 10 is connected to a position at which an auxiliary terminal 14 is separated from both of the terminals 2, 3 of the battery 1, i.e., to a contact point P1. Next, the auxiliary terminal 14 is switched to the negative terminal of a battery 1b, i.e., a contact point P2 and then a capacitor 5 is charged and a lamp 18 is turned on; because the lamp 18 is turned off when the charging is completed, the finish of the charging can be recognized at that time and then the connector 10 is removed and a normal cover 8 is installed. To remove the battery 1, the switch 15 is connected to a contact point P3 to form a discharge circuit and the lamp 18 is turned on during discharging and is turned off when discharging is completed. |
