<p>PURPOSE:To perform the shape straightening sufficiently and to make the strip highly precisely by dividing the straightening work roll unit in plural blocks, by arranging a bridle roll therein and by controlling the peripheral speed of the bridle roll. CONSTITUTION:The straightening of the camber in the width direction is performed on the partial elongation by the 1st straightening unit and the straightening of the camber in the longitudinal direction is performed by the 2nd straightening unit in a strip 16. On the other hand, the control is performed by a roll peripheral speed variable devices 17-19 so that the inlet side roll peripheral speed V2 of the intermediate bridle roll unit 13 becomes larger than the outlet side roll peripheral speed V1 of the roll unit 13. Moreover the control is performed so as to make the inlet side roll peripheral speed V4 larger than the outlet side roll peripheral speed V3 of the roll unit 13. With this control, the permanent elongation value which is given to the strip 16 at the 1st and 2nd straightening units 12, 14 is controlled and the stable operation is carried out.</p> |
