<p>PURPOSE:To freely adjust brake force so as to obtain the optimum brake force according to inclination of a slope and the like by providing a means for winding a coil spring extending over respective outer circumferential parts of the large diameter part of a stepped supporting shaft, and a rotational moving metal rotationally movably supported on the small diameter part. CONSTITUTION:In a wheel chair and the like, a brake is directly contacted with the outer circumferential part of a pneumatic rolling wheel so as to obstruct the rotation. In this case, a stepped supporting shaft 45 is fixedly secured to the bracket in one body with a body frame which is not shown in the figure, and a rotational moving metal 46 of same diameter as that of the large diameter part 45a is rotationally movably supported with the small diameter part 45b. A brake piece 47 which can be contacted with the outer circumferential part of the rolling wheel is fixedly secured to the rotational moving metal 46. Further, a coil spring 48 is wound extending over respective outer circumferential parts of the large diameter part 45a and the rotational moving metal 46. One end side of the coil spring 48 is locked with the brake piece 47 and the other end side is locked with a lever metal 49. The lever metal 49 is additionally provided with a brake lever 51 to operate the brake piece 47.</p> |
