<p>PURPOSE:To make a treating tank compact, to prolong filtration continuing time and to improve the production efficiency of treated water by passing organic waste water through a packed layer where micro-organisms are immobilized to carry out SS filtration and biological treatment and stirring the layer while supplying air and water when cleaning. CONSTITUTION:The supply of raw water from a raw-water supply pipe 6 is stopped and a treated-water outlet valve 18 is closed and a lot of cleaning air is charged from a dispersing means 5 and a packed layer 2 packed with granular solid matter 3 having three-dimensional net structure with micro-organisms as filter medium fixed is disturbed by air upflow. Next, a stirring means 13 is operated and a valve 17 is opened to deliver cleaning water to a treating tank 1, causing the packed layer 2 to be expanded upward by the air upflow and water upflow. By continuing this operation for 10-30min., SS and propagated micro-organisms caught in the packed layer 2 together with waste washing water are discharged from a waste washing water outlet pipe 11 to the outside of the system. Next, the operation is done stopping the cleaning air being fed and then the cleaning water being fed is stopped. And the stirring means 13 is stopped and after the level in the tank 1 is lowered, raw water is supplied again.</p> |
