PURPOSE:To provide an inorganic light-weight foamed material excellent in incombustibility. CONSTITUTION:In a foamed material composed of a composition containing an inorganic substance and a vinyl chloride resin in a mixture ratio of (95:5)-(5:95), an inorganic fiber whisker having <=5mum fiber diameter and >=1000 deg.C melting point is added to the vinyl chloride resin in an amount within a range of 0.1wt.%-150wt.%. Thereby, the objective light-weight foamed material excellent in incombustibility can be obtained. |
