Method for the manufacture of building elements provided with relief forms, such as doors or the like, in which method heat-activated adhesive is spread on the surface of the construction element 4, on which adhesive a plastic sheet 6 is pressed, which is heated up so that it presses against the surface of the element 4 and is deformed according to the surface and affixed thereto by means of the adhesive 8. In the method relief forms 5 raised up from the surface of the element 4 are placed thereon, the heat-activated adhesive 8 at the same time being spread on the relief forms 5 and the element 4, following which the covering sheet 6 is pressed on to the element 4 and the relief forms 5 and adhesively bonded so that it fixes the relief figures 5 and the element 4 together into a solid unit. <IMAGE>
