<p>A method for increasing maize yields by applying a soluble protein material-based and leaf-absorbed substance at a time when the maize plant has 4-7 visible leaves, 1-1.5 kg of dry protein material being diluted with 20-1000 litres of water per hectare. The time at which the substance is applied preferably depends on the total number of leaves on the maize plant. A leaf-absorbed substance for implementing the method is also provided.</p> |
