The controller regulates motors (14) connected to a 3 phase network (10). A switching unit (24) acts as main phase connecting device and is controlled from the central controller. Fuses (28) and a thermal overload relay (30) are connected to the line. Connections are made to two of the phases by lines (32, 38) that connect with a start control relay (36) for the drive motor control. A main safety control switching stage (54) connects in all 3 phases and provides main motor protection. ADVANTAGE - Provides local control without separate cables.
