<p>A pigment particle, in particular TiO2, having absorbed on its surface a hydrophobically modified dispersant interacting with a hydrophobe-modified water-soluble polymer associate thickener is disclosed which when used as a component of a latex paint formulation results in dried films with improved gloss properties.</p> |
