<p>The proposed method for electroslag casting of ingots from a granular metal-containing blend provides for creation of a slag bath by means of non-consumable cooled metal electrodes maintaining in the upper layers of the slag bath the temperature of 1750-1800 °C, gradual feeding from it the granular metal blend at a speed equal to 1.0-1.5 times the speed of its melting, obtaining the metal melt and forming an ingot.</p> |
