摘要 The circuit has an input for specifying a rest position for the adjustable wing mirror and a control stage (21) for the electric drive (23), allowing the wing mirror (25) to be rotated about at least one axis and/or linearly displaced in a given direction. A signal processing stage (19) allows the rest position signal (16) to be corrected w.r.t. the detected steering angle and the vehicle travel direction, to provide a new position value (20) for the control stage (21). The control stage then compares this signal with a feedback signal (27) from a position sensor (26) for the actual mirror position, to allow the drive (23) to be controlled for position correction. ADVANTAGE - Improves rear visibility by eliminating blind spot, esp. when cornering.
