<p>The concentric/relay type rotary engine makes a pair of interlocked rotors perform four strokes-suction, compression, expansion, exhaust- in a cylinder. A first rotor rotates, and moves to the position of a second rotor while the second rotor moves to the position of the first rotor if the expansion stroke occurs in the cylinder. The rotary engine comprises a pair of rotational bodies (4,4a) locating a pair of arms (5,5a) at the rim inner side; a pair of cranks (7,7a) interlocked with the rotors (3,3a) and guiding one rotor to the position of the other rotor; a guiding plate (6a) connected with the cranks (7,7a) pins (10,10a) and having an output member (9) on its one side.</p> |
