BIODEGRADABLE PLASTIC

摘要

A biodegradable plastic containing a substance which imparts hydrophilicity in such an amount as to give a wettability of 70 DEG or below in terms of the contact angle of the plastic surface with water and being improved in the degradability by basidiomycetes, products of culture thereof and/or products of treatment thereof. A process for decomposing the plastic under the condition where the amount of nitrogen and/or carbon is restricted. The invention makes it possible to decompose efficiently those plastics which have hitherto been difficult to decompose.
