The initiator (3) arranged on the single revolution shaft, generates a pulse in the pulse free region (7) of the pulse prodn. unit. Outputs of the storage programmable control (5) are fed back across a control bus (6) for activating a control cycle on a control programme plane, and controls of all the therewith set outputs by the storage control on the camshaft gear (4). The control pulse is introduced at least before the putting in to operation of the printing machine. The control pulse is introduced per revolution of the single revolution shaft. The pulse-free region (7) includes a small angle of rotation range of the single single revolution shaft. ADVANTAGE - Identifies faults in pulse prodn. unit/storage programmable control system at printing machines.
