A thermoplastic resin composition containing (A) 1 to 99 parts by weight of a resin mixture which contains (a) 1 to 99 % by weight of a glutarimide copolymer comprising 5 to 99.9 % by mole of repeating units derived from glutarimide, 0.1 to 10 % by mole of repeating units derived from an acid and/or acid anhydride and 0 to 94.9 % by mole of repeating units derived from an a,b-ethylenically unsaturated monomer, and (b) 99 to 1 % by weight of an epoxy group-containing copolymer, in which at least a part of the repeating units derived from the acid and/or acid anhydride in the copolymer (a) and at least a part of epoxy groups in the copolymer (b) are chemically bonded; and (B) 99 to 1 parts by weight of at least one thermoplastic resin, which has high heat resistance and stiffness and is excellent in impact resistance and molding processability with good balance among them.
