An automatic device for the application of rivets (8) to substantially flat components (10) comprising a fixed base (1) with which is made integral a support (2) in which are provided housings (2a,2b) containing means (7) for the temporary holding of rivets and means (4) for supporting a punch (11), such means (4,7) being designed to perform reciprocating and synchronized movements inside the relevant housings (2a,2b) under the controlling action of means for pushing (3) and for joining (5,6), there being also provided means for automatically feeding rivets (8) and means (9) for pushing the same, capable of inserting rivet (8) into such flat member (10) and of countering the thrust action of punch (11) applied against the lower part of the rivet projecting from flat member (10) so as to deform and press it into the flat slab in order to achieve the definitive fastening thereof. <IMAGE> |
