<p>In a switching device, particularly for use as active sensor in motor vehicles, in which the current through a load can be switched in dependence on a physical quantity acting on the switching device, two connections of the switching device can be connected to one another via a semiconductor switch. Furthermore, they form the input to a storage-type power supply circuit. A sensor generates an electrical signal representing the physical quantity, which can be supplied to a threshold circuit. The semiconductor switch can be controlled in pulsating manner in dependence on the output signal of the threshold circuit.</p> |
