PURPOSE:To ensure the detection of both larger and smaller changes in the vehicle attitude by detecting the load on nor movement of the suspension system by a load sensor disposed in the suspension system, and by detecting driving conditions based on said detected signal. CONSTITUTION:The signal DS from a load sensor 8 disposed in a suspension system attachment on the vehicle side is zero under a steady static load. However, when the shock absorber experiences a short cyclic vibration due to the road surface disturbance or a long cyclic vibration due to a rolling motion in turning maneuvers, the signal DS from the load sensor 8 is outputed to a driving conditions detecting circuit 24. The driving conditions detecting circuit 24 outputs driving conditions detecting signals RS1, RS2 via a low pass filter 26 and a high pass filter 27 to cut off the low and high end components. In this manner, the detection of both larger and smaller changes is ensured. |
