PURPOSE:To reduce any load applied to a conveying bar by providing adsorption means on a coupling bar connecting between a conveying bar movable vertically and in the conveying direction of a workpiece and an interlocking bar parallel to said conveying bar. CONSTITUTION:When applying the captioned device to a conveying device in a portal pressing machine 1, a driving part 2 of a conveying device is provided in a space formed by leggs 1a, 1b of the pressing machine 1, and rollers 60, 61, 66, and 67 for guiding movement of a conveying bar 4 while holding it from upper and lower both sides thereof are supported on free ends of levers 56 to 59 rockably pivoted on a foundation block of the driving part 2. A rack is longitudinally provided on one side of the conveying bar 4, and the conveying bar 4 is moved by rotation of a driving gear of the driving part 2 engaged with said rack. An interlocking bar 25 is provided guided by rollers 21-24 in parallel to said conveying bar 4, and plural adsorption panels 28 are provided on coupling bars 26, 27 connecting between the conveying bar 4 and the interlocking bar 25. |
