PRODUCTION OF OPTICAL INFORMATION RECORDING MEDIUM

摘要

PURPOSE:To enable production of a recording layer having high stability at a low cost by placing an electrode to constitute a substrate in liquid prepd. by dispersing pigments into an aq. soln. of a surfactant forming micelle and effecting an electrolysis, then forming the recording layer consisting of the pigments flocculated on the electrode surface. CONSTITUTION:The surfactant adsorbed on the pigment surfaces loses adsorbability and the pigments flocculate to form the recording layer 1 on the electrode 2 when the pigments are dispersed into an aq. soln. of the surfactant introduced into a ferrocene hydrophobia part having an oxidation reducing power and are subjected to constant potential oxidation on the electrode formed on the surface of a substrate 3. As a result, the inexpensive recording layer having high stability is obtd. by using the dyes for which a vapor deposition method or solvent coating method cannot be utilized.
