PURPOSE:To expand and spread a seat belt for infant momentarily by putting a gas flowing hole on the buckle side in communication with a gas flowing hole on the tongue side, and thereby forming a gas flow path which puts a gas generating means in communication with the sack-form portion of the seat belt. CONSTITUTION:When a car collides, a high pressure gas is generated. The gas intrudes momentarily into a gas flowing hole 4a in a buckle device 4 and collides with a cap 12 on the buckle side to cause it to be broken. This forms a gas flow path, and the gas collides with a tongue side cap 11, which is also broken. As a result, the gas flowing hole 4a on the buckle device side is in communication with a gas flowing hole 5a on the tongue 5 side. A gas generator 9 is put in direct communication with a seat belt 6 for infant, and a gas flow path is formed leading from the gas generator 9 to the seat belt 6. Accordingly the gas generated by the gas generator 9 intrudes into the breast member of the seat belt 6, and the breast member is inflated. |
