The invention relates to a burner with air/fuel mixture of the sort having an annular dished part (1) surmounted by a cap, with a pipe (9) for feeding air/fuel mixture, this pipe being of substantially radial extension with respect to the said dished part and emerging in a distributor chamber (5) formed between dished part (1) and cap. Its particular feature lies in a deflector such as (14) with circumferential extension such that it angularly covers over the mouth (13) into the dished part (1) of the feed pipe (9). In that way, any return of a flame towards the feed pipe (9) is avoided. <IMAGE>
