The present invention relates to a fuel pump support device for a motor vehicle of the type comprising a sleeve (10) formed of an open shell (100) of U-shaped cross-section made of plastic, intended to receive the pump body (P) and means (200) for closing the said shell, characterised by the fact that the closure means (200) are formed of a second shell made of plastic designed to be snap-fastened into the first-mentioned shell (100), and characterised by the fact that the said first shell (100) comprises, on the one hand, at least one first elastic structure (120) formed integrally during moulding with this shell and designed to exert a vertical force on the pump body (P) and, on the other hand, at least a second elastic structure (130) formed integrally during moulding with this same shell (100) and designed to exert a horizontal load on the pump body (P). <IMAGE>
