According to the invention, the covering is composed of at least two padded elements (2-3) constituting thigh pieces, leg pieces or ankle pieces, each comprising an outer face with small loops and at least one transverse and internal band (7) of velvet ("velcro") with hooks or spikes, whilst the stiffening rods are distributed, on the one hand, in two lateral and removable rod systems (4), each composed of at least one rod (10) arranged in a closed sheath (12) whose inner face is fitted with hook or spike velvet (13) capable of interacting with the small loops (6b) of the cover elements (2-3) and, on the other hand, in a removable rear rod system (5) composed of at least one bent rod (14) whose branches (14a-14b) are engaged in the sheaths (16) of two cushions, respectively upper (17a) and lower (17b), and in that each of these cushions comprises, on its inner face, a sheet (19) of hook or spike velvet capable of interacting with the small loops (6b) of the elements (2-3) of the cover. <IMAGE>
