PURPOSE:To preclude the risk that a microcomputer for control of a game machine is operated in accordance with a wrong program. CONSTITUTION:A microcomputer 23 for controlling a game machine is equipped with a means 62 to judge whether an externally provided ROM 10c where a control program is stored, is proper or not. At the time of first ROM 10c mounting, the security check information corresponding to the security code stored in the ROM 10c is accommodated in a ROM 64. When the specified conditions are met, a CPU 63 judges whether the control program stored in the ROM 10c is proper or not on the basis of the data accommodated in the ROM 64. |
