<p>PURPOSE:To increase the transfer speed of data on plural registers between the register banks with a microcomputer which consists of a built-in RAM and contains a register file consisting of plural register banks. CONSTITUTION:When the data on plural registers are transferred between the register banks, a word line 12 corresponding to the register bank serving as a source is activated so that the data are outputted onto a bit line 13. Then a word line 12 corresponding to the register bank serving as a destination is activated so that the data are read out of the line 13. In such a constitution, the data on plural registers can be transferred at a high speed and with no use of an internal data bus 3 of a microcomputer.</p> |
