Prosthesis for the humeral socket which consists of a base in the form of a trapezoidal plate (1) with upper and lower edges in the shape of a circle arc, having a circular rim raised through 90@ comprising upper and lower cuts, this base being pierced with at least two oblong holes for the passage of rounded-head screws (8), while the rear face of the base comprises a fastening block, this base being covered with a sliding piece (11) of corresponding shape having, on its rear face, protuberances for fastening on the base by penetration into the cuts and recesses with rounded edges for accommodating the heads of the screws (8), whilst the front face of the sliding piece comprises a recess of concave elliptical shape whose upper part extends beyond the lower part. <IMAGE>
