PURPOSE:To provide a magnetic separator where magnetic particles adsorbed by a magnetic disk are efficiently conveyed and simultaneously capacity for magnetic particles contained in wastewater is improved. CONSTITUTION:A toothed belt 54 is made a scraper belt for scraping magnetic particles 58 stuck on the surface of a magnetic disk 24 and also is equipped with scraper blades 55, 55 on the surface. Thus the belt 54 is prevented from running idle. The magnetic particles 58 scraped by the toothed belt 54 fall between the scraper blades 55, 55 of the toothed belt 54 and are conveyed. And since the toothed belt 54 equipped with the scraper blade 55 is used, permanent magnet fragments can be fitted the whole region of the magnetic disk 24, and the throughput for magnetic particles 58 contained in wastewater is improved. |
