PURPOSE:To provide an information recording and reproducing device generating no breaking to an optical card, detecting the output power of a laser beam at the time of recording in a short time and providing a regulating device for an output power. CONSTITUTION:From the time of insertion of the optical card 30 into an inserting opening 2a to the time when the card 30 is transferred to the position irradiated with a laser beam 71a by an optical head 70 and recording power of the laser beam emitted by the optical head 70 is detected by a controlling circuit 50 and the detected recording power is regulated. |
