PURPOSE:To obtain a recording image which is high in a fixing property by keeping transferred dye with intensive retention by a method wherein a dyestuff having at least one reacting group selected from specific reacting group is transferred to an accepting layer which contains a resin having an OH group or an NH2 group by application of thermal energy to per form dyeing. CONSTITUTION:A dyestuff having at least one reacting group selected from reacting groups as given in the formulas (1), (2), (3) is dyed to an ac ceptive layer containing a resin having an OH group or an NH2 group by application of thermal energy. Herein, in the formula (1). X represents either of Cl or F and Y represents any one of Cl, OCH3, NHR (R is an alkyl group). and -SO2CH=CH2. In the formula (2), X, Y represent respectively any one of Cl, F, and SO2CH3, and Z represents any one of Cl, CH3, and F. In the formula (3), X, Y represent respectively either of Cl or F. |
