Device for selective occultation of images and graphics with immediate autoprotection and with controlled autodestructibility, the said device being advantageously ready for use, for graphics applications. The device makes use of an occultation material (1) previously applied to a transparent base (2) provided with an adhesive (3) to be irreversibly integrally attached to the support material (4) carrying the images and graphics to be protected. Optional distinctive marks (5), (6) and (7) increase the performance of the device. The invention concerns printers, silk-screen printers and manufacturers of materials employed for producing the occultation device. It also concerns distribution circuits likely to sell the device to individuals and professionals wishing to maintain a degree of confidentiality in their exchanges. <IMAGE>
