The furniture structure of the kind that comprises a plurality of uprights provided with notches forming racks to engage with and support a plurality of horizontal boards for holding products, said boards being provided with means for engaging with and attaching to said uprights, is noteworthy in that said boards consist in fact of pairs of boards (4.1 - 4.2) whose position is fixed relative to the uprights to which they are fixed and attached, said boards (4.1 - 4.2) being provided along their longitudinal edge with recesses forming slideways in which an intermediate board (4.3) can be engaged and slid along for adjustments to its position, this board being retracted when the two boards (4.1 - 4.2) are brought together end to end [edge to edge]. <IMAGE>
