摘要 PURPOSE:To form easily a polychromatic transferred image by immersing an n type semiconductor electrode having a hydrophilic surface in an electrolytic soln. contg. compound such as an aromatic compound or a heterocyclic compound and by selectively exposing the electrode to deposit hydrophobic matter. CONSTITUTION:An electrolytic cell 3 is filled with an electrolytic soln. 4 contg. an org. compound selected among aniline derivs. thereof, phenol, derivs. thereof, pyrrole and thiophene, and an n type semiconductor electrode 1 and a counter electrode 2 are immersed in the soln. 4. The electrodes 1, 2 are connected directly or indirectly with a power source 7 in-between by a switch 6. The semiconductor electrode 1 is made of titanium oxide, zinc sulfide, strontium titanate or the like and has hydrophilic property. The electrode 1 is selectively irradiated with light L through an exposure mask 5 having a desired pattern placed at the outside of the transparent part 3' of the cell 3. The irradiated part is made hydrophobic by electrolysis. The hydrophilic part is colored to give a desired color. A polychromatic image can be transferred easily and rapidly by repeating said stages.
