PURPOSE:To reduce the size and the cost of a power source by integrally unitizing a coil part in a switching power source and a semiconductor part connected with the coil part. CONSTITUTION:A transformer is composed of a core 21, a bobbin 22 and a winding 23 wound on the bobbin 22. A metal plate 24 of good conductivity wound on the outer periphery of a transformer forms a shortcircuiting ring. A switching transistor 25 is secured via a bonding agent to part of the plate 24. These parts are coated with synthetic resin having excellent thermal conductivity. The plate 24 reduces a leakage magnetic flux which exhibits the shortcircuiting ring to prevent a noise. |
