PURPOSE:To provide practicability and embellishability as well as to make improvements in impact resistance, watertightness, chemical resistance or the like by forming a door in mixing a filler, a polymerization initiator or the like in acrylic resin, and attaching it to a furniture body free of opening or closing with hinges as a hinged door. CONSTITUTION:An inorganic filler such as alumina, silica, etc., or an organic filler such as crushed matter of synthetic resin, etc., a polimerization initiator and so on are mixed in acrylic resin using methyl methacrylate as the principal ingredient. Next, after defoaming, this mixture is poured into a casting mold and polymerized, or a mixture of resin powder and the filler is press-formed in a forming die otherwise. At that time, as for the polymerization initiator, benzoyl peroxide or the like is used. Then it is attached to a door body of each storage part of a kitchen counter, a wash cabinet or the like free of opening or closing, namely, a biparting door in all directions or one side hinged door. In this connection, it may be possible to attach a handle or knob to the door and, what is more, to form a plane pattern or engrave a relief pattern direct to a surface of the door. |
