PURPOSE:To provide an ink solvent which is highly safe and not detrimental to ink properties by using a specific monoester of a fatty acid as the main component. CONSTITUTION:A monoester of a fatty acid of the formula: R1C(O)OR2 (wherein R1 is 5-21C alkyl; and R2 is 1-4C alkyl) is used as the main component. |
