PURPOSE:To reduce the frequency of generation of high pressure in a brake device in normal operation by furnishing a brake link system with a structure for increasing the pedal stamping force fitted with a coupling member to couple a pedal link system mechanically with a torsion spring. CONSTITUTION:When a brake pedal 1 is stamped to the middle position of a pedal stroke S, a lever 17 of collar 11 contacts a lever stopper 18, and the collar 11 is hindered from rotating. In the remaining later stage of stroke B (emergency brake zone), the pressure of a torsion spring 12 is added to the pedal stamping force. Because the torsion spring 12 is given previously an initial twist, the pedal stamping force rises steeply in the early period of the later stage stroke B. That is, after the lever 17 contacts the lever stopper 18, a steep increase is made until the pedal stamping force attains a magnitude corresponding to the initial twist, force of the torsion spring 12, and in this period, stamping of the pedal 1 is hindered substantially, and the operatot is given expressly a sense of stroke end. |
