PURPOSE:To reduce the frequency of generation of high pressure in a brake device by quickly increasing the pedal stamping force at the stage as going beyond the normal braking zone, and giving the operator a sense of stroke end. CONSTITUTION:A stationary base plate 9 is fixed to the oversurface of a floor 6, and one end of a movable plate 10 arranged inclined to this base plate 9 is pivoted by a hinge pin 12 rotatably. A torsion spring 11 is installed round the hinge pin 12 in the condition that an initial twist is given previously, and thereby the movable plate 10 is energized in the direction that its other end is separated from the stationary base plate 9, wherein setting shall be made so that the other end of the movable plate 10 contacts the undersurface of a brake pedal 1 approx. in the middle position of the pedal stroke S. When the brake pedal 1 is stamped and its undersurface contacts the movable plate 10, the initial twist of the torsion spring 11 is added to the pedal stamping force to cause it to increase rapidly, and the operator is given a sense of stroke end expressly. |
