PURPOSE:To provide a flame-retardant sheet or flame-retardant molding resistant to the falling-off of hydrated inorganic compound from the surface and having low smoking tendency and excellent flame-retardance and mechanical strength or moldability. CONSTITUTION:The objective flame-retardant sheet or flame-retardant molding contains 4-50wt.% (in terms of solid) of a cellulose fiber, 20-92wt.% (in terms of solid) of a hydrated inorganic compound, 2-40wt.% (in terms of solid) of a synthetic polymer and a carbonate at a weight ratio [(hydrated inorganic compound)/carbonate] of 99.6/0.4 to 50/50 (in terms of solid). |
