PRODUCTION OF FEMALE SCREW MADE OF SYNTHETIC RESIN

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a lightweight female screw made of a synthetic resin excellent in corrosion resistance. CONSTITUTION:A pipe 1 having a laminated structure is molded using a thermoplastic resin mixed with a long fiber. This pipe 1 is inserted in a mold 2 and a core 3 having a male screw shape is inserted in the pipe 1 and the pipe 1 is softened under heating to be compressed in its axial direction by a pressure member 4 to form the female screw thread corresponding to the shape of the core 3 to the inner surface of the pipe 1.
