PURPOSE:To surely prevent the generation of unequal coating even if a resin is of a high viscosity with the device for coating a release sheet with the molten resin by a coater of a reverse roll system. CONSTITUTION:A means 63 for dividing a resin pool 62 extending in the longitudinal direction of a metering roll 51 and an applicator roll 45 to at least two parts; a metering roll side part and an applicator roll side part is provided in the section where the resin pool 62 is formed between the rolls 51 and 45 in such a manner that the molten resin can flow from the metering roll side part to the applicator roll side part. The molten resin supplied to this device is introduced into the metering roll side part and a means 66 for stirring the metering roll is provided in at least the metering roll side part.
