WATER TANK FILTERING DEVICE

PURPOSE: To achieve cyclical lifting and lowering of water without trouble for a long period by providing respective overflow aspiration lifting devices with intake ports existing at the same height level as the height level of the bottoms of filter compartments on the supporting side surface side and drain ports opening downward toward the filter compartments adjacent immediately below the same or lower chambers. CONSTITUTION: This filter has a housing having a lower chamber 15 and filter compartments 17 and 18 provided with filter materials and a water feed tank 20 for supplying the water to the filter compartments 17 and 18 from above. The water passes the filter compartments 17 and 18 from which water is supplied to the chamber 15, then sucked up from the chamber 15 by a pump 21 and is recirculated through a conduit 22 to an aquarium tank 11. The filter compartments 17 and 18 respectively have at least one overflow aspiration lifting devices 23 and 24. The respective overflow aspiration lifting devices have the intake ports 25 and 26 of the same height level as the height level of the bottoms 27 and 28 of the filter compartments 17 and 18 on the supporting side surface side and the drain ports 29 and 30 opening toward the filter compartments 17 and 18 adjacent immediately below the same or the chamber 15.
