<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the title dispersion which is excellent in flowability, storage stability, and tinting power and gives a coating film excellent in gloss by compounding an org. pigment, a specified amt. of a specific org. color deriv., and a water-base resin. CONSTITUTION:The title dispersion is prepd. by compounding an org. pigment (e.g. C.I. Pigment Red), an org. color deriv. of formula I {wherein P is an org. color residue; X is a divalent group comprising a rational chemical combination of 2-15 atoms selected from the group consisting of atoms of S, C, N, O, and H; R is H, 1-18C alkyl, or Y-Z [wherein Y is an optionally hydroxylated 1-6C alkylene; Z is N<+> (R<1>, R<2>, R<3>).A- or a group of formula II (R<1>, R<2>, and R<3> are each an optionally hydroxylated or carboxylated 1-14C alkyl, or benzyl; A<-> is anion; and R<4> is 1-4C alkyl)]; and n is 1-3} in an amt. of 0.1-30wt.% based on the pigment. and a water-base resin (e.g. a water-based styrene-acrylic resin for an ink).</p> |
