PURPOSE:To provide the optical interface system capable of sending an overhead signal to a terminal equipment by transferring a low-order group signal converting to an optical signal. CONSTITUTION:With the first multiplex separator 1, the mutual multiplex conversion of the high and low-order signals is performed and the mutual conversion of this low-order signal and an optical signal is performed. This optical signal is sent through a light transmission line 2. By the second multiplex separator 3, the mutual conversion between this optical signal and a plurality of digital signals is performed. In the optical interface, the overhead signal of the low- order signal is transferred by the optical signal. |
